Fellow musicians – forget Dreamweaver, fiddly Flash design or HTML coding. Before creating this website, I considered my options, and in the end decided on using WordPress to produce the website you are using right now. This guide shows you how to make a professional music website exactly like this one.
If you’re wondering – I’d estimate that it took around 3 hours to get the basic framework of the site going. Since then, all I’ve needed to do is create and publish the content on a regular basis, to keep my visitors coming back for more.
In all, it cost me about £30.00 maximum. That includes the domain name and web hosting. WordPress is free!
I found this great tutorial on youtube, which told me everything I needed to know to create this site as you see it now.
You too can easily make a professional music website just like mine to provide royalty free music or publish your music online.
Follow the 1 hour tutorial here, and you could be up and running too.
